You can’t hustle and grind forever
Can we please officially let go of this hustle and grind mindset. Now I’m not saying that there’s no grind seasons within business but this Perpetual hustle state is not healthy.
I used to think that we had to always be in this go go go cycle in order to hit the goals that we had set out for ourselves within our business. I used to think that if I wasn’t working every minute of the day that the business I wanted would not come to pass.
There are two things wrong with this mindset
- It shows a extreme lack of trust in God and His provision
- It leads to burnout and emotional fog that will slow you down much faster than taking breaks ever will
A few months ago, I burnt out pretty badly and of course I still had to work through it, I made sure my clients were still taken care of but my mindset and my emotional state of being was in shambles.
I think so many times we are so focused on reaching and hitting our goals that we forget about the business owner that we have to be.
This is why I now believe in having a sustainable business that is backed by systems, solid strategy, and flowing sales funnel that allows me to live the life I truly want to live.
